Gloria Nino – President
Born in the Texas River Valley and raised in Waco, Texas, Gloria Nino moved to Houston in the ’70′s where she worked as Director of Public Relations for CASOLAR, the Las Hadas Resort and Development Co. in Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico. After an extended business assignment at Las Hadas, where she coordinated press-junkets and entertained prospective resort development buyers, she returned to Houston and began a career in real estate.
In 1984, she established Nino & Associates, Inc., a full-service home finding brokerage specializing in corporate relocation. In 1986, she incorporated Nino Corporate Lodging, Inc., a pioneer in the nationwide temporary housing industry.
Since founding Nino & Associates in 1984, Gloria’s invaluable insight, vision and leadership have made a huge impact on the Greater Houston area Real Estate and Relocation industries. She is considered one of the most knowledgeable Realtors in Houston and her dedication to providing all of our clients with the most exemplary service truly set Nino apart. This commitment to success is shared with all those around her.
Gloria is responsible for daily operations of the full service real estate brokerage, including Business Development and Marketing. As the President, she oversees the recruitment, training and development of the Realtors. Gloria is always energetic and excited about the ever changing Houston Real Estate Brokerage market and its new developments.
Gloria holds a Texas Real Estate Broker’s License and has served on a number of industry-related local, state and national boards related to corporate housing, residential sales and rental assistance. Not only is she a successful businesswoman, but she is also dedicated to giving back to the community. Gloria is proud to have been involved with the founding of The Houston Furniture Bank and was an active participant in the early years of Teach For America as TFA Advisory Board Member. Gloria is on the Latin Women’s Initiative Board. Giving back to the community where we live and work is of utmost importance to her. She encourages everyone in her organization to give back to the community whenever possible. She is a mother of two boys, and loves fishing, reading a book in Galveston on the beach, taking long vacation road trips and looking for great new dinning experiences.
Frank Monacelli – Vice President/Broker
Frank Monacelli graduated from Oklahoma State University and obtained his first job with General Telephone & Electronics’(GTE) in League City, Tx as a Human Resource recruiter/generalist in 1978. He left GTE to join The M.W.Kellogg Company (now KBR) in 1981 where he began his experiences in the industry of corporate employee relocation. Mr. Monacelli was responsible for college recruiting and engineering recruitment in addition to administration and policy development for domestic/international employee
relocation. He was a member of the original Houston Relocation Forum.
In 1985, Mr Monacelli became a staffing manager for Talent Tree Temporary Services before leaving to combine experiences with Gloria Nino at Nino & Associates in 1987. Responsibilities include administrative, financial, and training/compliance as Designated Broker of the company. Nino & Associates and Nino Corporate Lodging rebranded in 2012 and became Nino Properties and 37 years later is continuing to supply rental assistance, corporate housing and home purchase/sales for new hires, expatriates and transferees relocating to Houston.
Mr. Monacelli is a Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) and has been a member since the mid-1980s. He is a former Board Member of YES College Preparatory School, has been active with the Muscular Dystrophy Association for numerous years and is a founding member of the Houston Furniture Bank where he is a Board of Director currently. Additionally, Frank has been serving on the West University City Zoning/variance Committee 2021-2023 and now on the Waste Management and Recycling Committee for 2024-2026.
Frank Monacelli holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Oklahoma State University.
